Playing with mail.app in OS 10.3.1

I can’t remember why I didn’t use mail in 10.2, but 10.3 seems to be working out.
1) Has the ability to work off line
2) Supports imap over SSL
3) Supports multiple mail boxes
4) Automatically sents the from information based on the mailbox you are in. Yes there are mail clients out there that don’t do that.
5) Support multiple smtp servers (one per ISP)

The only problem I had was working out how to set the sent items folder. You goto Mailbox -> Use mailbox for -> Sent. I thought you would be able to do it from the context menu i.e cntr – click.

Now if I could only get postfix -> procmail -> cyrus to work I would switch my imap sever over to cyrus.

Vacation?

I am officially on my holiday 🙂
I have a couple things planned but mostly it is about not going to work.

I think I have convinced my ipod that it should only play songs based on the number of times I have played them. This should play all the things that I haven’t listened to in ages. It seems that the sorting only works when you copy the smart playlist to your iPod not by changing the order after it has been copied. I also have another one that is play songs I haven’t listened to in the last 3 weeks.
