Mmm let me see all my personal email goes through an ISP in the UK. I wonder if I can use this once it becomes law to sue people. This could be a cash cow for the Tardis project if someone wants to persue it. I bet it only works if the spam came from inside the UK.
I really need to stop using my solaris box for reading LJ. I don’t think I ever finished compiling and installing KDE on it. The only reason I had it up was to install the ssh and the sendmail patch. I discovered I had a shit load of other patches that I were not being installed by patchpro so I had to do them by hand. The sunbox is the dhcp server for the DMZ in my appartment. I started xmms from a ssh tunel to my file server. Man it has been a long time since i saw the colour map getting screwed up. Remember that used to happen when you start Netscape on the sunboxes at Eduni. What the option to stop it –installimagemap?
Got to go reboot it. and just when xmms on random is reminding me of all this strange music I own.
Well I went to work today. Seems I was about the only one. My mum called to check that everything was OK. I left about my normal time, basically started thinking about it about 5 and actaully left at 20 to 7 or I would have had to pay double for parking my car in the garage across the street. As I drove home I noticed it was a bit windy. People at work, while they were there kept talking about about Isabel. I have yet to meet this girl. Some said that she might be coming to baltimore sometime tonight.
Mega…
As my boss at Currys used to say. One of my friends in Scotland found me digitalkatie and now I find out that some my other friends are on lj as well. Hello digitalsean nerfboy nerfgirl. Welcome 🙂
Random MP3 playing from 15 gigs of MP3’s
Oh I only have 18 gigs of scanned photos.
Protected: Since someone else on my friends list did this….
mmmm doctor who. Exterminate, Exterminate…………………..
I can’t believe I used to hide behind the sofa over this.
Ah the hiking was just what I needed. I ended up hiking with 2 other people I met on the trail who were going about the same speed I was. Very cool.
Annoying thing about computers #1223234
I have sound working on my file server again :). Downloaded and installed the latest Alsa sound drivers and it now work WOOPIE. I can now listen to MP3’s upstairs with out having to start another computer 🙂 The file server is on all the time. I can also freak out people by playing music loudly while I am not at home 😉
I am feeling productive. I finished (well to the point it works) a web gui for indexing and preping my pictures to go projectphotos. I also pushed a new front page out to the main web server that tells people about new pictures. it has some rough edges but it is working, and I uploaded 6 rolls of film that I have told myself I wasn’t going to put online till I finished the loading gui.
I think I have paid all my bills. Still haven’t got my parking pass for this month. need to go to the management office and get it, but that involves having a shower and doing something about clothes.
I want to go hiking tomorrow. I haven’t renewed my national park pass for this yet which point the fact I haven’t done much out doors this year.
Finally
