well it finally happened. I got a haircut. not sure if anyone will notice :). My hair is still on the long side, but it doesn’t get in my eyes which is what was really annoying me.
New photos and some very old photos are being loaded onto projectphotos.com as we speak. Some of the highlights, Snow in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Photos from my childhood and some photos from .. yikes… 5 years ago when I moved to the US.
I think the upside down pudding is a disaster, I forgot to put egg in, but the banana cake smells good. Maybe try again tomorrow.

Oooh lightening, and now thunder……….
Spent the day at the Microsoft 2003 server launch. Some interesting stuff. definitely pro microsoft. one annoying thing, they kept saying this is a new feature of 2003. My return thought was do I have to have a complete 2003 enterprise installed before I can use that feature? One thing that is bugging me is that large corporations are buying up interesting companies and making their products a cisco only or a symantic only solution. I am seeing that with microsoft as well. I saw some cool ideas but I think the only way to get it to work is to only use only microsoft’s products, when dealing with security it has to work across with our networking infrastructure as well.
I am now hanging out at the daily grind close to Court House in VA. No point in returning back to baltimore for a couple hours
One thing didn’t work, another just finished and didn’t give any errors, and an archive database script just crapped out saying “The table ‘data’ is full” mmmmm. I wonder who much data I just lost. If I really want to I can pull the data out the replication logs. I need to think about that tomorrow. Time to get the hell out of her.
Bike
I rolled passed 1000 miles on the odometer on my bike this week.
So many drunk people. I had forgotten what is like living here in the summer. I am very close to O’Donnell Square and the Bay cafe. So I can hear the drunk people stagger up the street who have been drinking since the afternoon in the sun.
